The Intersection

The intersection is where you can feel the most exposed. It's where I feel most exposed.

The intersection is that unique point in every persons life that when named feels like it hits you between the eyes.

The intersection is usually that exact strength zone or zone of genius for which you have the most to offer the world.

The intersection is where you can feel the most exposed.

It's where I feel most exposed.

It's where I feel am I really going to say this, share this.

It doesn't feel like other people are talking about this.

Is this allowed? Will anyone care?

No, not will they care. More are they going to care so much that they reject me, reject my idea, abandon me, cancel me.

My intersection sits at the core of business and my Christian faith.

My intersection informs the way I see the world.

My intersection informs my values and my behaviours.

My intersection creates the most value for my team, my clients.

It reveals to me my ideas, my inspiration, my point of difference.

The intersection is what I try and uncover for others.

I push others to peel back and peel back, until they really get to the heart of what makes them unique.

The brands that succeed lean into this hard.

They are distinctive. They are 1 of 1.

They seem weird, and strange - until they become the norm.

How many marketing briefs include e.g "Apple"

Our intersection as Intentional is helping brands match their uniqueness with their ideal customers unique needs.

The intersection of a brands story and the customers real life.

I've felt this invitation for a long time to share my intersection. Whenever I go to share my faith and worldview in a business context I shy away.

And in doing so, make the same decisions that the brands we struggle to help do.

They see the plan, they agree it's the path forward.

But when it's time to execute, they fit in. They do what has been done before.

Let's see what happens when I lean into my intersection.

I invite you to reflect and lean into your personal and your brands intersection.

At the end of the day, this is what makes us human.

Our unique identities. That at our core we are 1 of 1's.

What's your intersection?
